                            Bataan has a very important role in the history of the Philippines and Bataan is definitely a tourist friendly province. This year celebrates the 80 th Day of Valor or Araw ng Kagitingan – Bataan Day, which gives honor to all the veterans who gave their life for the country.             The Day of Valor or officially known as Araw ng Kagitingan is a national observance in the Philippines which commemorates the fall of Bataan to Japanese troops during the Second World War. Lent: Season of Reflection

                 Filipinos indeed are known for greatly valuing culture, tradition, beliefs, and practices. As the month of hearts have passed through, everyone peacefully awaits and prepare for the breeze of Lenten Season.             Belonging in a Christian Church, lent is a period of penitential preparation for Easter. It is a time wherein we recall how Christ passionately gave himself to the cross through all the sufferings and a time of his death and resurrection. As I have observed and grown with this practice, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are considered as public holidays. On the Ash Wednesday, Catholic people place ashes in their forehead as a sign of inner repentance. While the practice of Fasting and Abstinence, the most common during Lenten Season, is not really practiced by everybody.
