MOTHERHOOD: An art which can never be stolen nor bought

 

                Life makes us wonder in different forms, but if there’s one thing we’d realize, we owe our existence to the ones special who brought us in this world. More precious than rubies, our mothers.

                   Every woman in the world is of great impact. Made with their own purpose to be loud and proud. Some are up to being career woman, some are excelling in the business industry, some are in love with single-blessedness, but what makes them extreme, is the fact that they can do any or much more all of these while being mothers. Motherhood is a journey of molding a child to a grown-up. It is more than just bearing a child for months in a womb, but more so, it is about the unconditional love and sacrifice, one woman can give to a child. Nowadays, a lot of women feels unfulfilled for not being able to bear a child of their own which at times, is the reason of other men breaking up, cheating, leaving or even demeaning women of their womanhood because of this tagged incapability. But, emphasizing in this insight, it is women will never be deserving to be called incapable if this situation if given unto them, instead, it is a blessing to be used as an opportunity to be a blessing unto others, more particularly to every child who longs for a motherly love. As I have asserted, motherhood is more than just bearing your own child, but rather it is about the unmeasurable love given unconditionally to an unbiological child. The sacrifice that every mother is readily offered in our every day lives, as they work for their families to live life, the hardships of instilling discipline for a little child to be someone in the future, and the protection and care which secures a child from the day he was on her mother’s lap, is of great appreciation to look into. Thus, the celebration of Mother’s Day every second Sunday of May is a day we must all look up into. It is the day where we give highlights to motherhood and put an effort to express the utmost gratitude to our mothers, with the exemption that we should express our love in every single day.

                    We are not what we are today if it’s not our mothers who loved us with the best way they can. Expressed in different forms, but one thing is in common, it is the sacrifice we can never repay no matter what, for being a mother is an art which can never be stolen nor bought with the highest bid. It just needs to be appreciated with an unmeasurable love much as they did since the day, they gave us the opportunity to live in this world.
